Hyderabad — In a significant political move, Mudassir Imam, a young entrepreneur and social activist well-known among the youth and party circles in Hyderabad, has joined the Indian Youth Congress Party. Mudassir Imam, the grandson of former MP Khaleel ur Rahman, has been inspired by the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and aims to support his efforts in combating injustice.

Mudassir Imam comes from a distinguished family background. His father, Pervez Shaikh Imam, is a noted industrialist, while his paternal grandfather, Allauddin Shaikh Imam, founded Kasila farm, one of India’s leading hatchery units in Hyderabad. This business legacy continued with Khan Bahadur Abdul Kareem Babu Khan, a nephew of Allauddin Shaikh Imam, who later took over the construction business, achieving remarkable success.
