Bhopal: State CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has taken suo motu cognizance of the case of greedy husband giving Triple Talaq to his wife on WhatsApp in Kohefija, Bhopal. Shivraj has asked the DGP of Madhya Pradesh along with the Bengaluru Police to take appropriate legal action in the case. He wrote in tweeting that, "In Bhopal this morning, a Muslim sister has lodged an FIR for triple talaq by sending messages on mobile by her husband. I assure the sister that the Madhya Pradesh Police will do everything possible to get them justice. ''
In fact, in Kohefija of Bhopal, a husband, under the greed of dowry, gave his wife Triple Talaq on WhatsApp call. Based on the complaint of the victim woman, the police has registered a case against the accused husband under the dowry law and sections 3 and 4 of the Muslim Marriage Act Ordinance-2019. The accused is a citizen of Singapore and a general manager at Hotel Sheraton Grand in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The woman, while pleading for justice from the police, said that her husband is harassing her even after 19 years of marriage. If the police does not reach Bengaluru on time, then he can take both children to Singapore. According to Kohefija CSP Nagendra Pateria, a case has been registered against the accused husband under dowry harassment and the Muslim Marriage Act Ordinance-2019 on the complaint of the woman.
