Bhopal: Today is the second death anniversary of former Prime Minister of India and veteran BJP leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee. President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and PM Modi paid tribute to him on the occasion. At the same time, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan along with party workers paid tribute to Atalji and announced the name of Chambal Progress Way as 'Atal Vihari Vajpayee Chambal Progress Way'.
CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has tweeted from his official Twitter handle saying that, while remembering the death anniversary of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, we have decided to name Chambal Progress Way as 'Atal Vihari Vajpayee Chambal Progress Way'. Let us all remember him and make Madhya Pradesh Navnirman with full potential, this will be a true tribute at his feet.
Earlier, Shivraj said in a tweet that, 'Today, in the Madhya Pradesh BJP office, he laid a wreath with all the officials and workers on the death anniversary of former Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji, former Prime Minister of India, patriarch of BJP and pioneer of crores of activists like us.' Earlier, PM Modi said that India will always remember his extraordinary service and his efforts for the country's progress.
