New Delhi: AAP has announced the candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi. Somnath Bharti from New Delhi, Sahi Ram Pehalwan from South Delhi, Kuldeep Kumar from East Delhi and Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi are going to be candidates. PSC (Political Affairs Committee) meeting was held at the residence of CM Arvind Kejriwal to discuss the names of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Imran Hussain, Durgesh Pathak, Pankaj Gupta, Gopal Rai, Rakhi Bidlan and Atishi also participated in this meeting.
Know about the AAP candidates: The media had already informed that AAP is going to trust its MLAs only. Kuldeep Kumar, Somnath Bharti and Sahi Ram Pehalwan, all three are MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party. Mahabal Mishra had left Congress and joined AAP. His son Vinay Mishra is MLA from Dwarka. This time's election is important for AAP because it is contesting in alliance with Congress. Not only this, there are a total of seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. Congress is going to field its candidates on three seats.

Somnath Bharti- Somnath Bharti is also the Vice Chairman of the Jal Board. Has been a minister in Delhi Government. Sahi Ram Pehalwan is MLA from Malviya Nagar seat – He is MLA from Tughlakabad for 3 consecutive times. Also called grassroots level leaders.
Mahabal Mishra- has been an old Congress leader. Has been an MP. Son is an MLA.
Delhi Minister Gopal Rai has said about this, "Aam Aadmi Party has taken a historic decision today from the East Delhi Lok Sabha seat. This is a general seat. For the first time in Delhi, a reserve category candidate is being fielded from a general seat. "The decision has been taken." Gopal Rai said that winning these seats is our goal.
