Bangalore: After the polling for 224 assembly seats in the southern state of Karnataka on May 10, the counting of votes has started at 36 centers on Saturday (May 13). Political pundits are either telling Congress to get majority or are predicting that it will emerge as the single largest party. However, both the BJP and Congress parties are claiming majority in the state.

Meanwhile, a video has surfaced from Delhi even before the election results, in which it is visible that before the counting of votes for the Karnataka Assembly elections, celebrations are being held at the Congress office in Delhi with drums. It's still late for the results in Karnataka, but celebrations have already begun outside the Congress office in Delhi. Many Congress leaders are also claiming a landslide victory. Former CM Siddaramaiah's son Yatindra has said, 'We will get absolute majority and we will form our government. We are confident and all the surveys have also said that Congress is going to win the Karnataka assembly elections.'
Let us tell you that the counting of votes for the assembly elections in Karnataka has started from 8 am on Saturday. At present, the counting of postal ballots is underway. In the initial trends, there is a close fight between the Congress and the BJP. Both are going back and forth from each other, in such a situation the role of JDS becomes important. Currently, out of 224 seats in the state, Congress is leading in 102 and BJP in 99 seats, while JDS is leading in 20 seats.Â
