The much-awaited Black Friday Sale has arrived in India, offering travel enthusiasts a chance to grab great deals on flights. Starting on Friday, November 29, 2024, and lasting until 11:59 pm IST on Monday, December 2, 2024, airlines like Air India and IndiGo are offering significant discounts on both domestic and international flights, along with additional perks.
Air India’s Black Friday Sale is offering fare cuts of up to 20% on domestic flights and up to 12% on international routes. These discounted fares are valid for travel until June 30, 2025, with extended travel dates available for flights between India and Australia or North America, which are available until October 30, 2025. To take advantage of these discounts, bookings must be made through Air India’s official website or mobile app. However, passengers are reminded that seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with certain blackout dates applying.
Moreover, Air India is waiving convenience fees that typically cost Rs.399 for domestic flights and Rs.999 for international travel. Additional discounts are available for passengers using specific payment methods. UPI and internet banking users can get discounts of Rs.400 on domestic flights and Rs.1,200 on international flights. ICICI Bank credit cardholders can enjoy up to Rs.3,000 off on business-class tickets, along with further discounts on both domestic and international round-trip bookings.
Air India is also continuing its popular offers of up to 25% off for students and up to 50% off for senior citizens, which can be combined with the Black Friday Sale promotions.
On the other hand, IndiGo is offering one-way fares as low as Rs.1,199 for domestic flights and Rs.5,199 for international routes. This sale covers travel between January 1 and March 31, 2025. In addition to discounted flights, IndiGo is providing deals on services like 15% off on pre-paid excess baggage and up to 50% off on its FastForward service, which speeds up check-in and baggage delivery. Passengers can also get travel assistance for just Rs.159 on domestic routes.
IndiGo's Black Friday Sale is an excellent opportunity for customers to plan their trips for 2025 while benefiting from significant savings. The airline is also offering discounted seat selections starting at just Rs.99, allowing passengers to choose their preferred seats at an affordable price.
