The results of the Karnataka assembly elections are going to come today. The counting of votes has started for all the 224 assembly seats in the state. Father-son duo in Davanagere: Let us tell you that Shamunur Shivshankarappa, a veteran Congress leader, is from the Davanagere South seat in Karnataka. His son SS Mallikarjuna is trying his luck from Davangere North seat on Congress ticket. In this way, the father-son duo is fighting a battle in the election field from North and South seats of Danagere. 

Father-daughter duo in KGF and Devanahalli: Veteran Congress leader KH Muniyappa is contesting from Devanahalli Assembly seat in Karnataka, while his daughter Roopakala M is contesting from KGF on a Congress ticket. In this way, both father and daughter contested on Congress ticket from different seats. 

BTM Layout and Jayanagar: Father-daughter duo: Reports say that veteran leader Ramalinga Reddy is contesting from Karnataka's BTM Layout seat on a Congress ticket, while his daughter Sowmya Reddy is contesting from Jayanagar seat. In this way, the pair of father and daughter is fighting a battle in the election battle. 

Father-son-brother's reputation at stake: JDS chief HD Kumaraswamy is contesting from Channapatna seat in Karnataka assembly elections, while his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy is seen trying his luck from Ramanagara seat. Also Kumaraswamy's elder brother and Deve Gowda's second son HD Revanna is from Holenarasipura seat.
