Who is Bhajan Lal Sharma?: Bhajan Lal Sharma, a first-time MLA, assumed the role of the new chief minister of Rajasthan on Tuesday. He presently holds a position in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, representing the Sanganer Assembly constituency.
Prior to this appointment, Bhajan Lal Sharma had served as the State General Secretary for the Bharatiya Janata Party on four occasions.
In the recent 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election, he secured his position as an MLA from the Sanganer Assembly constituency. His victory came after surpassing Pushpendra Bhardwaj, the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate, with a substantial margin of 48,081 votes.
