Actor Bala has remarried, this time to Kokila, his uncle's daughter, in a ceremony held at the Kaloor Pavakkulam Temple in Ernakulam. Bala previously announced his plans to remarry to ensure that his assets, valued at Rs 250 crores, would be properly managed.
During a recent conversation with the media, Bala revealed that he wanted to protect his wealth through this marriage but did not disclose Kokila’s identity until the wedding.
Bala's previous marriage ended in divorce in 2019 and became increasingly contentious. He accused his ex-wife of obstructing his access to their daughter, which stirred significant discussion. His daughter later spoke out, accusing him of harassing her mother and asserting that he was not truthful. In response, Bala released a video to address these allegations.
Amid the turmoil, Bala's daughter also faced cyber harassment. His ex-wife shared her perspective through a video, stating that she had chosen to remain silent for a long time but felt it was necessary to speak out concerning their daughter. She questioned how one could celebrate during such distressing circumstances surrounding their child’s birthday.
Bala also spoke about his health issues and the desire to remarry, saying, “I felt the need for support after my liver transplant. I had said in an earlier interview that I’m confident when I’m on my own. I am now taking care of my diet and taking medicine. My health has improved, and it is possible to move forward in good condition. Bless with your heart if you can.”
