Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Apprentice. A total of 200 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. The application process for interested candidates has started from 24 September 2024. The last date to apply is 21 days after the release of the notification, i.e. candidates have limited time left to apply. To apply, candidates have to visit the official website of DRDO, drdo.gov.in.

Graduate Apprentice: 40 Posts
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): 40 Posts
Trade Apprentice (ITI Pass): 120 Posts
Educational qualification
Different educational qualifications have been sought for each post:
Graduate Apprentice: Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech degree in branches including Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, and Chemical.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): The same branches are required for diploma holders.
Trade Apprentice (ITI Pass): This category includes Fitter, Welder, Turner, Mechanist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronics-Mechanic, Electrician, and COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) trades.
Age Limit
Candidates applying for this recruitment should not be less than 18 years of age as on August 1, 2024.

10th Marksheet and Certificate
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma/ITI Last Marksheet or Certificate
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
PWD Certificate (if applicable)

Medical Fitness Certificate
Two passport size photographs
Selection Process
The selection process will be mainly based on the educational qualification and interview of the candidates. After verification of documents, the shortlisted candidates will be informed through e-mail. After this, original certificates and self-attested copies will have to be submitted during document verification and joining.

Before applying for Graduate and Diploma Apprentice, candidates have to register on the NATS 2.0 portal (nats.education.gov.in).
Trade Apprentice (ITI pass) candidates are required to register on apprenticeshipindia.org.
