Kota: Bhimganjmandi police station in Kota city of Rajasthan has arrested a woman smuggler in a major action. Police have recovered 3 kg 540 grams of opium from the possession of the woman smuggler. Whose market price has been estimated at Rs 4 lakh. In the information given by the police, it has been told that the accused woman smuggler Mamta Bai Soni is a resident of Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.
According to police, the accused woman was sitting alone at the bicycle stand outside the Kota railway station. The woman got up and started leaving as soon as she saw the police jeep. When the policemen suspected her, they stopped her and asked her why she was sitting there alone. When she started procrastinating, the policemen searched her bag. 3 kg 540 grams of opium was found in her bag.
Preliminary police inquiries revealed that the accused woman was asked by someone to deliver the bag to Kota. At present, the woman has not named the bag giver. The woman has informed the police that someone had to come outside the station and take the bag. However, police are now trying to gather information about the bag giver and the supplier of Kota. The woman is also being questioned in this regard.
