An incident of firing on a person in broad daylight has come to light in Panchkula, Haryana, on Friday. This incident took place in Bharouli village of Panchkula when three unknown attackers opened fire on a person named Goldie sitting in a car. Goldie got injured due to the bullet and was immediately admitted to the hospital.
Firing during convoy The incident took place when the convoy of the Congress candidate from Kalka assembly constituency was passing by. Goldy, who is a resident of Kheda village of Raipur Rani, was sitting in his car. At that time, three unknown people came there and fired three bullets at him.
Goldie's condition is stable The injured Goldie was first taken to the Civil Hospital in Panchkula but was later shifted to PGIMER in Chandigarh. According to the police, Goldie's condition is currently out of danger.
Police investigation revealed that Goldie is a history-sheeter and 29 cases are registered against him in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Lalru and Mohali. The police are also linking this attack to an old rivalry and are investigating whether this is a part of any gang war.
Teams formed for investigation Police has formed four teams to trace the attackers. Along with this, CCTV footage from the surrounding areas is also being examined so that the attackers can be caught as soon as possible.
