New Delhi: A video of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chairperson Swati Maliwal being allegedly molested has gone viral on social media. In this video, Swati Maliwal can be seen narrating the incident with an alleged drunk car driver. Maliwal has claimed that she was dragged for 15 meters after harassing her near the Delhi AIIMS hospital when she came out on the streets on Wednesday (January 18) night "for a reality check" on women's safety in Delhi.

In the viral video, Swati Maliwal is seen saying, 'Sorry... I couldn't hear you. Where will you leave me? I want to go home. My relatives are on the way." Swati's voice is clearly heard in the video. In the video, a man is seen coming in a Baleno car and pressuring Swati to get inside the car. Maliwal was then seen moving away and the man left but returned after some time. In the video, Swati is saying, 'Where are you going to drop me? This is the second time you have come. I am saying again and again that I do not want this. Meanwhile, the accused starts pulling Swati after her hand stuck in the car's glass.'

At the same time, the police say that the accused was arrested within 22 minutes of getting the information about the crime. Delhi Police tweeted that, 'Acting on the emergency call of South District Police made by Swati Maliwal, the police swung into action, the Baleno car was found within 22 minutes. An FIR has been registered under the relevant section and the accused has been arrested.' Further investigation is on. Let me tell you, Maliwal had claimed that she was dragged for about 15 meters before freeing herself from the grip of the accused. She wrote in tweeting that, 'God saved her life. Imagine the situation... if the Chairperson of the Women's Commission is not safe in Delhi.'
