New Delhi: Delhi's Saket court has extended the police custody of Aftab, a criminal in the Shraddha murder case, for four days. Aftab's police custody was to end today. Aftab was produced in the court under special trial. Because of this, Aftab said in front of the judge that whatever happened was HEAT OF THE MOMENT. That is, whatever he did, he did in anger without thinking.
Aftab told the court that he is cooperating in the investigation. He informed about the places where he threw the pieces of the dead body. Aftab said that he will tell everything, but he is not able to remember many things since the incident happened a long time ago. According to Aftab's advocate, he does not remember exactly from where he bought the saw. Aftab has also made a map of the pond where he had thrown Shraddha's head.
Earlier, on Monday, the police recovered a jawbone and some bones from the forests of Mehrauli. The Delhi Police has taken it to a dentist so that it can be ascertained whether the jaw belongs to Shraddha or not. Dentists have started investigating this jaw. Aftab's narco test could not be done on Monday. Actually, Aftab has to undergo a polygraph test before the narco test. Earlier on Thursday, the court had ordered Delhi Police to conduct a narco test of Aftab in 5 days. The Delhi Police on Monday sought permission from the court to conduct a polygraph test on Aftab. It is being said that Aftab has also given his permission. According to sources, during interrogation, Aftab has told the place where he had thrown the weapon used in Shraddha's murder. During interrogation, Aftab told that he had thrown the saw and blade used in the murder of Shraddha in the bushes of DLF Phase 3 of Gurugram. At the same time, he had thrown the chapar in the dustbin on 100 Feet Road in Mehrauli.
