Bhopal: The Met department has predicted heavy rain in several districts of Madhya Pradesh today. The Met department has issued a warning for heavy rain in 18 districts of the state. Districts of Madhya Pradesh for which this warning has been issued include Indore, Dhar, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Khandwa, Khargoon, Barwani, Burhanpur, Hoshangabad, Harda, Baitul, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Narsinghpur, Sivani, Jabalpur, Mandla, Katni, Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Panna, Sagar, Tikmgarh, Vidisha, Vidisha, Contains the names of Sihor, Damoh and Chattarpur.
According to the Met department, heavy rain may occur in these areas and elsewhere. Heavy rain has lashed Bhopal and many parts since Wednesday morning. After a month-long rain lashes in Bhopal for four days, the water level of the Bada Talab has reached 5.50 feet in 30 hours after 10 years. Whereas the larger full tank level requires 4 feet.
In Madhya Pradesh, several parts of the state are also likely to receive rain for the next 12 hours. Heavy rain warning has been issued in some areas of Bastar. It is also estimated that the state will be cloudy for the next 48 hours. The state still recorded 12 percent less rainfall than normal.
