New Delhi: In the last 2 days, 6 cases of love jihad have been reported from different areas of the country. Out of these two Hindu girls (Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand) have been murdered after gang rape and the remaining 4 somehow managed to survive. But, even after this, politicians shamelessly reject Love Jihad in the greed of vote bank. By looking at the latest case that has come to the fore, you can understand how deep and to what extent this poison has spread. In fact, in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, a woman has made sensational allegations of love jihad, religious conversion and sexual abuse on constable Wasim of Delhi Police.

The victim has alleged that Wasim had been raping her for the last 11 years. During this time, Wasim's brother Arif also raped her several times. The victim has also claimed that Wasim had threatened her to behave like Shraddha. According to media reports, the victim says that she came to Delhi in 2011 to study. Here she lived with her family in a flat in Lajpat Nagar. Delhi Police constable Wasim and his family also lived in the same building. Wasim's mother Jamila used to talk sweetly with her and tell her about the virtues of Islam. The victim claims that one day she took Wasim's mother Jamila to her house, where Jamila gave her to eat sevai. After eating it, she became intoxicated and then Wasim raped her. When she regained consciousness, Jamila started pressuring her to marry Wasim.  

The victim further said that when she refused to marry her saying that her religion was different, Wasim and Jamila started threatening her. He also threatened to kill her only brother. After this, Wasim's family physically abused her several times. On December 28, 2012, the victim was forcibly married to Wasim. The victim has said that when her family came to know about this, they left the house and started living elsewhere for fear of being defamed. After the marriage, Wasim and his family got her to sign several papers. The victim's name was later changed to Iqra Ahmed. Wasim and his family used to torture her every day.

The victim alleged that in April 2015, she gave birth to a son. After the birth of the son, Wasim's atrocities increased further. Wasim used to forcibly give her powder and drugs and also had unnatural sex with her. The victim alleged that her brother Arif also raped her at the behest of Wasim. She was beaten up when she resisted. The woman alleged that Wasim told her that he had framed several Hindu girls in the same manner. At the same time, Wasim had threatened to cut the victim's body into 35 pieces like Shraddha if she opened her mouth. The victim said they used to say that "we have a habit of killing". Not only this, Wasim's mother Jamila used to say that 'When our mind is filled with Hindu girls, it is cut like this. Right now my son will marry many Hindu girls. '

The victim says that she suffered every torture of Wasim and his family for 11 years. On May 11, Wasim brutally beat her up and tried to strangle her with the cord of his service revolver. On May 12, 2023, she managed to escape from there and reached Hapur to reach her grandfather and lodged a complaint against Wasim and his family. The Hapur police on Monday registered an FIR against Wasim, mother-in-law Jamila, father-in-law Qayoom Ali, brother-in-law Imran, Arif, Azharuddin and Shahid on the basis of the victim's complaint. However, no arrest has been made in the case so far.  At the same time, Hapur Additional Superintendent of Police Mukesh Mishra has said that a case has been registered in Nagar Kotwali.  The matter is being investigated. During the investigation, it has been found that the accused party has taken a stay on the arrest from the High Court and now the matter is being investigated as per the direction of the High Court.
