Thiruvananthapuram: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar highlighted India's global recognition and transformation over the past decade during his address at the Viksit Sankalp Bharat Yatra in Thiruvananthapuram. He emphasized that the global conversation has shifted towards India, with many nations recognizing the changes the country has undergone.
Jaishankar, speaking about his interactions abroad, explained that people are curious about India's transformation, comparing the country's present state to what it was 10, 20, or 30 years ago. He attributed the transformation to a shift in vision, emphasizing the impact of technology and the government's initiatives.

Jaishankar acknowledged that these issues are not unique to India but are global concerns, affecting both developed and developing nations.
Reflecting on his 46-year government service, Jaishankar expressed satisfaction with the positive changes observed in the bureaucracy's responsiveness and the improved customer-friendly approach of bankers under the Modi government. Union Minister V Muraleedharan was also present at the event. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aims to ensure the saturation of flagship government schemes, ensuring that the benefits reach all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
