Saharanpur: The Indian Railways is preparing to run Vande Bharat Train between Delhi and Saharanpur soon. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who is on a two-day visit to Saharanpur, gave this news. He said that for this, the railway track between Delhi and Saharanpur is being improved, for which 48-50 points have been made. Electric locomotives will be improved in Saharanpur. Along with this, work is also being done to connect all the major Jain pilgrimage sites of the country with the railway line.  

On the second day of his visit to Saharanpur, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw held a discussion with the media. Due to this, he gave many important information about the railways. He said that work is being done to run the high-speed train Vande Bharat between Delhi and Saharanpur. For this, the track is being developed so that the train will be able to run at a speed of 150 kilometres per hour on this track. Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the railway station of Deoband will also be rejuvenated, which will cost Rs 23 crore. At the same time, there is a possibility of running a new train from Saharanpur to Prayagraj.  

Further, Ashwani Vaishnav said that all Jain pilgrimage places in the country will be connected by rail line. Due to this, he targeted the UPA government and said that earlier 4 kilometres of railway lines were laid daily, but now 12 kilometres long railway line is being built every day under the Modi government. The UPA government did not pay any attention to the development of railways in big states like UP. UP's budget in UPA was only Rs 1109 crore, which has been increased to Rs 14,761 crore by the Modi government.
