Dehradun: A case of running a prostitution business under the guise of a spa centre has come to light in Uttarakhand. Landhaura police in Haridwar district have busted the sex racket while raiding a spa centre in the Civil Lines area. Eleven people have been detained from the spa centre. It also includes six young women. One of the accused is also a manager of a private bank. Police are interrogating the accused. At the same time, action is being taken against the spa operator.

According to the report, a spa centre was operating near Prem Mandir in the civil lines area. People in the vicinity had lodged a complaint with the police suspecting unethical acts at the spa centre. Due to this, Senior Sub-Inspector Kedar Singh Chauhan of Kotwali along with a police team raided the spa centre on Thursday evening.

The police team also included a woman sub-inspector and a woman constable. The police team detained 11 people on the spot. These include six young women. The accused are also said to be the manager of a private bank. The police are currently interrogating all of them.
