Dehradun: The police solved the murder of Nitin Bhandari in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand on November 27, 2022. In this case, the police arrested 3 brothers and their mother. They have been identified as Azad and Naushad, while the third accused is a minor, so his name has not been made public. He was arrested on December 5, including their mother Gulshan. It is known that they killed Nitin for demanding borrowed money.

According to the report, 35-year-old Nitin was originally a resident of the village Chodikh in the Pabo block of the Pauri district. He used to work in a factory in Haridwar. Gulshan lives with her three sons in Idgah Colony under the Bhagwanpur police station area, not far from Nitin's house. Naushad and Nitin were his friends. One day Naushad borrowed Rs 2.5 lakh from Nitin to buy a plot. However, Naushad later refused to return the money. Due to this, Nitin and Naushad's relationship started deteriorating. On November 27, Nitin reached Naushad's house to ask for money. During this, there was an argument between them and the matter reached a scuffle. After this, Naushad slapped Nitin down and strangled him with a towel. Naushad's entire family also supported him in this murder. After killing Nitin, Naushad's entire family slept through the night with his body. The next day, the accused bought a grain tank from the market and kept Nitin's body in it and were waiting for the right time to dispose.

For 2 days, Naushad's entire family stayed with Nitin's body. But, when blood started coming out of the grain tank, the accused left the body there and fled by locking the house. Later, during a search of the house, the police found Nitin's body. Nitin's family was contacted with the information received from his company and from the slip found in Nitin's pocket. The police registered a case on the complaint of the family members and started an investigation. During this, the police found the pickup driver, who had taken away the luggage of the accused. The pickup driver gave the number of one that came for booking, which belonged to the accused. Based on this number, the police reached the accused.

During the investigation, the police found that the landlord who leased out mother Gulshan and her family had not got their verification done. Action can also be taken against the landlord in this regard. During the investigation, the police collected some mobile numbers, whose location was said to be Noida, Bulandshahr, and Rajasthan. The police raided these locations and arrested all 4 accused on different days.

According to the police, the accused have also confessed to their crime. A gas cylinder, refrigerator, bullet, mobile phone, PAN card, and ATM card of deceased Nitin along with Rs 1.10 lakh in cash were recovered from their possession. Three accused involved in the case have been sent to jail and another minor has been sent to a juvenile home. Nitin got married in the year 2018. He was working in a pharmaceutical company in Haridwar for the last 6 years. His father was paralyzed in 2019 and Nitin has two sisters with his mother at home.
