Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur, a woman along with her lover and three other people tortured her husband to death. She had earlier attacked to kill her husband. But, when the husband survived the attack, the vicious wife started giving him an overdose of medicines after watching a TV serial. The people of the area were stunned when the incident came to light. Rishabh Tripathi, a resident of the Sachendi police station area, was married to Sapna in 2020, but Sapna already had an affair with a person named Raju Gupta. Whom she could not forget even after marriage and that is why she conspired to remove her husband from the way and grab his property. 

For this, the vicious wife took the help of her lover. She was plotting to kill her husband when a wedding card arrived on 27th October. Rishabh had to go in this. He chose this day to commit the murder. As per the plot, while returning from the wedding, Rishabh is attacked on the way. In this, he was seriously injured, but his life was saved. He was admitted to a hospital for several days. He did not get the inkling that his wife was behind the attack. The vicious woman accused the neighbor of this attack and also lodged an FIR. The woman who was deeply in love with her lover did not know that this FIR would land her behind bars.

On the other hand, when Rishabh returned home after recovering, Sapna made a new plan of murder. He had seen in a TV serial that an overdose of medicines can make someone so ill that he may die. Under this conspiracy, he started giving an overdose of medicines. For this, she also trapped Surendra Singh, who had a medical store in front of the house in her beauty, and started asking for medicine from him. Meanwhile, Rishabh was also given such an injection by the medical store owner, due to which his condition worsened. His liver got damaged. Eventually, he was admitted to the Hallet Hospital, where Rishabh succumbed to his injuries. 

After this, the police conducted the post-mortem of the dead body, but no cause of death could be ascertained. At the same time, the Sachendi police were still investigating the matter. The reason for this was that Sapna lodged an FIR against her neighbor Vishwakarma at the police station after the attack on her husband. During this investigation, the police came to know from the mobile location of two people found at the spot that these people were in contact with Sapna.

When the police took the investigation forward, the shocking mobile chats of the three came to the fore. It is revealed that after attacking Rishabh, Raju had messaged Sapna that the work was done. On this, Sapna sent him a message that he (Rishabh) has survived. After this revelation, the police strictly interrogated all three, then Sapna spilled all the secrets. She told that her husband had a lot of wealth and she was having an affair with Raju. That is why she got her husband attacked first. When he survived, she started giving him an overdose of medicines under a conspiracy after seeing in a serial. 

Police say that the woman has accepted that she had made her elderly father-in-law so sick 4 months ago by giving him an overdose of medicines that he had lost his life. In this case, along with the woman, her lover Raju, along with Situ involved in the murder, Surendra, who owns the medical store, has been arrested. On the other hand, Raju says that he only attacked, for which Sapna gave Rs 3 lakh.
