Lucknow: The Surajpur Kotwali police of Greater Noida has arrested a serial rapist accused of raping several women after an encounter. The accused, who was injured by the bullet, raped the woman and looted her mobile and cash in the Surajpur Kotwali area five days ago. The police had declared a reward of 25 against this accused.

DCP (Women Safety) Vrinda Shukla said that the injured in the encounter has been identified as Hamirpur, a resident of Harishankar. Currently, he was living in a rented house in Greater Noida. DCP told that the crook caught is a serial rapist. He has raped many women in the past. It saw a lonely woman in a secluded place on the street and dragged her into the bushes and raped her. In the past, it has gone to jail in connection with rape After being released from jail, in February, this accused committed four rape cases at different places.

On February 25, the accused raped and robbed the woman in the Surajpur Kotwali area. A case of robbery and theft is also registered against the arrested accused. The injured miscreant who was shot in the encounter has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. At present, the police are interrogating it and trying to find out the crimes committed by it.
