Muzaffarnagar: A 12-year-old innocent girl was raped in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Accusations have been made on a young man living in the neighborhood of the girl. This incident is of Monday. It is alleged that the incident took place when the family members of the girl had gone out for work. Seeing the girl alone in the house, the neighbor raped her.

Giving information about the case, Anil Kaparwan, in-charge of the police station said that, “The accused has been identified as Karim and he is absconding. A case has been registered against him. He told that when the mother of the victim came back home from work, she was told about the incident. The victim has been sent for medical examination. Karmvir Singh, in-charge of Kandhla police station, said that the incident happened on Monday in Garhi Ramkor village under the police station area."

He said that a case has been registered against unknown people. In addition, a suspect has been detained for questioning. He said that to identify the culprits, the Superintendent of Police has formed a special team under the leadership of the jurisdictional officer and raids are being conducted at various places for the arrest of the accused.
