Lucknow: A major incident is coming to light in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow. Upset over domestic discord here, a  contractor killed his wife and then hanged himself. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took both the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. Police are investigating the case. However, prima facie, the case seems to be of a domestic dispute.  

Kulwant Singh (43), a contractor, killed his wife Pushpa (38) at Saripura in Talkatora. After which Kulwant Singh hanged himself. The incident, which took place due to domestic discord, was reported to the police by the contractor's son Sharad (17). Before this incident, Sharad had gone out of the house with his younger brother Anirudh. On returning, the mother's body was found lying in a pool of blood and the father's body hanging from the noose.

After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent them for post-mortem. He also started investigating the case by making a panchnama. According to the police, the case appears to be a domestic dispute, but the picture will be clear only after the post-mortem report comes out.
