Gonda: More than 8 people from the same family have fallen ill after eating poisonous food in UP's Gonda. One of the sick has also died. The case has come to light from Dasiapur in the countryside Kotwali area of Gonda. All the sick members of the family are undergoing treatment at Gonda District Hospital.
In fact, eight members of the same family fell ill after eating poisonous dal rice in Kotwali countryside police station area. A child of the family then died during treatment. The other sick people of the family have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Three of them are in critical condition. Suresh Kumar, a resident of Dasiapur Mauja Panditpurwa in Kotwali countryside, was reportedly making dal rice on the stove late at night. The food was served by Suresh's wife Sushila, Sukai's wife Nirmala, Kajal daughter Pawan Kumar, Smile daughter Suresh Kumar, Aniket son Pawan Kumar, Anshar son Dinesh Kumar, Neelam wife Suresh Kumar and Mohit son Pawan Kumar in the morning and all fell ill. Vomiting also started after a while.
All the sick people in the family began receiving treatment from local physicians. Only 7-year-old Mohit died during treatment. Sick Sapphire reported that there are about 12 people in the family. All food is made simultaneously. Dal-rice and puri vegetables were all eaten by the people sitting together. Then, in the morning, everyone fell ill.
