Lucknow: With the thumping return of the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh, the crackdown on criminals has also begun. The UP Police and the administration are continuously carrying out illegal constructions and demolishing them by using bulldozers. In the same sequence, the construction of 10 bighas of land in the illegal possession of a relative of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Nahi-Da Hasan from Kairana in Shamli district of the state has been bulldozed by the district administration.
Shamli DM Jasjit Kaur, while giving information in this regard on Wednesday, said that a team of revenue department officials led by Kairana SDM Sandeep Kumar demolished the illegal construction built on 10 bighas of land of the mandi committee on Tuesday. He said that the encroachment was done by Sarwar Hasan, a relative of SP MLA from Kairana, Naheed Hasan, several years ago.
Shamli District Magistrate Jasjit Kaur said that the district administration is conducting a drive against the illegal occupation of government land and action has been taken under the same.
