Ballia: Two sides were beaten up in a procession in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, where a young man was reported to have died. According to information, the procession was held in Phulchavarria village of Bansdih Road police station area. During the dance in the procession, two sides were heard and lashed out at some point. A young man, Pankaj Bond, died in the assault.

It is reported that the procession was also arranged to sing dancing to entertain the baratis. Only two sides of Fulchavarria village were feuding over the dancing and the story turned into beatings, which left Pankaj Bind's life. Police rushed to the scene and launched an investigation after the incident was reported.

Police have registered a case against accused Ranjit Kumar and Jayaprakash bind on the complaint of the deceased's brother Rahul Kumar. Two teams have been constituted by the police to investigate the incident. At the moment, no arrests have been made on the case yet. Police are conducting raids in the area to search for the accused.  It is also questioning the local people.
