Lucknow: Despite all the strictness in Uttar Pradesh, crime against women is not being curbed. The latest case has been reported from the Gonda district of the state. A married woman from a village in the Dhanepur area of Gonda has lodged a complaint accusing a man from the area of entering her house and raping her and assaulting her and making a video when she resisted.
According to the married woman, a resident of a village under the police station area, on the night of October 29, a man from Dhaurahra village under the police station area barged into her house. The accused raped her and also filmed it. Not only this, she was beaten up when she resisted, due to which she suffered injuries. The accused has also threatened to kill her if she complains.
Inspector-in-charge Sanjay Kumar Gupta said that the victim along with her husband reached Dhanepur police station and informed about the incident of rape. A case has been registered against the accused Vipin Sharma, a resident of Dhaurahara village under which he was raped and other sections. A search is on for the accused. At the same time, the medical examination of the woman is being done.
