Lucknow: A Kalyugi son beat elderly parents and four-year-old niece to death with a hammer in Vikas Nagar of police station Gandhi Park area of Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh. This heinous murder has been carried out due to family property. After the murder, the accused himself reached the police station and told the police, ''Arrest me. I killed my parents." After taking the accused into custody, the police reached the spot. From here, the police took the bodies for post-mortem and started questioning.
After surrendering before the police, the accused Saurabh said that for 2-3 years, there was a lot of anger inside him. Which he killed and fired his parents. In fact, 62-year-old Om Prakash, a resident of Vikas Nagar, had retired from the post of ADO in the district panchayat. They have two sons, Rameshwar and Saurabh. Saurabh didn't do any work. The parents divided the property between the two brothers, which Saurabh was not happy with. On Monday, the dispute over the partition escalated to such an extent that Saurabh killed his father Om Prakash, mother Sonvati and his niece Phaguni with a hammer and a brick.
Rameshwar's wife Rashmi and elder daughter were also at home at the time of the incident. Rashmi came out screaming and the people around them gathered. The girl was taken to Medha Hospital on GT Road from where she was referred to JN Main Medical College. But she couldn't be saved. SSP Kalanidhi Naithani said that after the murder, the accused Saurabh reached the police station and told that the parents had been killed in the house. The SSP said that prima facie family disputes and sharing of family property are being cited as the main reasons behind the incident. Police have arrested the accused and the case is under investigation.
