Lucknow: The case of the murder of a Dalit woman in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, is gaining momentum. The family members of the deceased alleged that the woman was first raped and then strangled to death. However, an FIR has been registered under sections of rape under Sections 376A in this case. The police have arrested the young man who was accused.
According to the report, where the deceased was murdered, blood stains were seen on that place in the room as well as a blood-stained sheet. However, the family continues to allege that the girl was raped first. She was then strangled to death. Family members say that when they reached inside the house, the girl was lying naked. They then dressed their daughter and later informed the police.
