PRAYAGRAJ: In a recent development, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has taken the decision to terminate the services of 100 subject experts who were part of their confidential consultancy panel. This panel assists the commission in various tasks such as question paper preparation, answer sheet evaluation, and providing expert opinions for academic examinations conducted by UPPSC.

According to an official press release signed by Ajay Kumar Tiwari, the controller of examination, the UPPSC cited under-performance as the reason for the dismissal of these subject experts. The decision has been implemented immediately, and the commission will not assign any confidential work to the experts who have been dropped.

The press release further states that a comprehensive review was conducted to evaluate the performance of the subject experts. As a result, 100 experts were found to have failed in delivering work of satisfactory quality, leading to their removal from the panel.

Tiwari emphasized that this quality scrutiny of the subject experts' work will continue in the future as well. Any experts found to be unable to meet the commission's standards or exhibiting anomalies in their contributions to question paper creation or answer sheet evaluation will also be dropped from the panel.
