All efforts will be made to prevent COVID-19 infection in the High School-Intermediate Board Examination of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council. In order to strictly adhere to the social distance rule, the board has drastically reduced the student load capacity of the centres. In the recently released Uttar Pradesh Board Examination Center fixed policy, the board has made clear that social distance will be rigorously followed to minimize the possibility of COVID-19 transition during the examination.

For this, the total number of students allotted in both shifts has been reduced to a minimum of 150 and a maximum of 800, whereas till last year this number was minimum 300 and maximum 1200. According to the standards, an area of 36 sq ft of area has been earmarked for each student to sit. District school inspector Ravindra Singh said that the social distance rule will be strictly followed during the board examination, as directed by the board.

Therefore, the final list will be prepared on the basis of available resources of the data uploaded by the schools in online feeding. Schools that provide false news will be excluded from the list. Based on the information uploaded on the portal, marks will be given and separate merit list will be prepared for the state, aided and non-financial schools. The district committee will do physical verification of the information and based on the report, eligible schools will be made exam centres.
