Muzaffarnagar: In a shocking incident, a 25-years-old woman was killed by her in-laws over dowry demand in Uttar Pradesh. The deceased identified as “Aisha was found hanging from the ceiling at her home in Thanabhawan town in neighbouring Shamli district”, said police.
An FIR has been recorded against the victim’s husband Shahjan, father-in-law Sagiruddin, and brothers-in-law Arif and Amaj, on the basis of complaint filed by the Aisha’s family. It was alleged by the victim’s family members, that she was being stressed for dowry since last year soon after the wedding took place.
“Her body was hanged from the ceiling to mislead the police”, said the family members of deceased.
