Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today, March 20, said that strict action is being taken on corruption-related complaints received on the 1064 app launched by the government. He has already released a toll-free number, '1064' to register complaints regarding any government worker being corrupted. He said that the toll-free number was issued in the interest of the general public for effective control over corruption. He added that the state administration is committed to eliminating corruption in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand while operating in total transparency.
"Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, has called for a form of administration free from corruption. Along with this, everyone in the state, including its institutions, has been required to cooperate. The state has implemented the toll-free number 1064 in order to realise the goal of making the state entirely corrupt-free "The sentence was read.
The Chief Minister said, in order to effectively combat corruption, the general public's interest requires that the toll-free number 1064 be made more useful. He has stressed making people's politicians, intellectuals and common citizens friends in rooting out corruption, "It added.
He also pointed out that the Vigilance Units in Haldwani and Dehradun caught as many as personnel red-handed in a case of misconduct. He added that the irregularities in disproportionate cases and construction works were also promptly investigated and the culprits were punished.
CM Dhami's order for a corruption-free system was already issued to all Principal Secretaries, Additional Chief Secretaries, Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates.
