Parmendra Doval, the Superintendent of Police in Chamoli, shared the distressing details of the incident, stating, "In Chamoli district, ten people lost their lives as a result of a transformer explosion on the banks of the Alakananda River. Furthermore, numerous individuals sustained injuries in this unfortunate incident."
Efforts Underway to Provide Medical Care to the Injured: As confirmed by the Superintendent of Police, "All the individuals injured in this accident have been admitted to the hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment."
