Guntur: On Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m., a tragic road accident occurred at the Tenali flyover in Mangalagiri, where a car collided with an autorickshaw. The collision resulted in the death of one child and injuries to four other individuals. The state’s Welfare Minister, S. Savitha, who witnessed the accident, immediately intervened to assist the victims. She ensured that the injured were transported to the hospital and received prompt medical attention, and instructed authorities to provide the best care possible.
This incident follows a recent fatal accident on July 8, where three people, including two women and a boy, were killed in Lakshminagar, Eluru district. A car traveling from Hyderabad to Rajavolu collided with a truck parked on the road. The deceased were identified as Rachabattuni Bhagyasree (26) and Bomma Kamladevi (53) from Bhimavaram, West Godavari district. The collision resulted in the immediate death of the three individuals, while two others, Nagashanmuk and the driver Vamsi, sustained severe injuries. Bhimadolu Circle Inspector Ravikumar and Sub Inspector Satish were dispatched to the scene, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
Additionally, on June 27, another fatal accident occurred in Andugulapalem, Vinukonda Mandal, Palnadu district, where an Innova car crashed into a tree. This incident resulted in the deaths of three individuals, with five others injured and receiving treatment at a private hospital.
