A devastating road accident in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, claimed the lives of 10 people and left three others injured in the early hours of Friday. The collision occurred on G.T. Road when a speeding truck crashed into a tractor trolley carrying laborers.
The tractor trolley was returning from Bhadohi district, where the laborers had been working on a construction site. According to the Superintendent of Police, Abhinandan, the truck lost control and hit the trolley from behind. The crash happened around 1 a.m. on a stretch of road between Kachhawan and Mirzamurad, near the Mirzapur-Varanasi border.
Emergency services were immediately notified, and senior police officials, including the SP, rushed to the accident site to oversee the rescue operations. The injured individuals were quickly transported to the hospital, where they are currently in stable condition.
Authorities have begun a detailed investigation into the cause of the crash, and further details are expected as the inquiry progresses.
