Guntur: At least eight people lost their lives, and several others sustained injuries when an Andhra Pradesh State Government bus collided with a lorry on the Chittoor-Bangalore Highway near Mogili Ghat in Chittoor district on Friday.
The accident occurred when the bus, en route from Tirupati to Bengaluru, crashed into a stationary lorry. Emergency services and police have rushed to the scene to carry out rescue operations and provide aid to those affected.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has expressed his deep condolences to the families of the deceased. He has assured them of support and assistance during this tragic time. Naidu has also reviewed the situation and enquired about the ongoing relief efforts and medical treatment being provided to the injured.
