Bhopal: A serious accident took place in Maihar district of Madhya Pradesh, in which a high-speed bus collided with a Hiva. In this accident, 6 people died on the spot, while 24 people were injured. Under the rescue operation, the bodies of the deceased trapped inside the bus have been taken out, and now the death toll is being reported to be 9.
The accident took place in the Nadan Dehat police station area of ​​​​Maihar, when a bus full of passengers, carrying 45 passengers, collided with a Hiva parked near Chaurasia Dhaba. The bus was going from Prayagraj to Nagpur via Rewa. Maihar Superintendent of Police Sudhir Agarwal said that the condition of many injured is critical and they have been referred to Satna Hospital, while other injured are being treated in hospitals in Maihar and Amarpatan. He said that as soon as the information about the accident was received, senior officers reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
SP Sudhir Agarwal clarified that 17 to 20 injured have been admitted to various hospitals in this accident. The incident happened when the bus collided with a dumper parked on the roadside.
