With Dussehra celebrations set for October 12 and 13, 2024, authorities in several cities, including Mumbai and Noida, have announced traffic restrictions to manage the festive crowds and events. Commuters are advised to take note of road closures and diversions in place for the occasion.
Traffic Restrictions in Mumbai
The Mumbai Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park. The restrictions will be effective from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday.

Durga Puja Idol Immersion Routes
In addition to Dussehra-related restrictions, traffic diversions are also being implemented in Noida for the immersion of Durga idols. Key routes will be affected, especially near popular immersion points like the Yamuna Riverbank, Hanuman Temple, and other local temples.
