Popular Bollywood actress Kriti Kharbanda has worked hard to make a name for herself in the industry. However, she did not get consistent success and many of her films did not do well at the box office. Kriti herself told in an interview that she was devastated by the flop of her films and started regretting her decision to come to Mumbai.
"The decision to come to Mumbai seemed wrong"
Kriti said that when her films were not doing well and she was not getting good projects, she got disappointed. At that time she started feeling that maybe she was not made for this industry. But she never gave up. She says, "Giving up was not an option for me. If it was an option, I would have probably quit. Thank God I didn't do that."
Journey from South Industry to Bollywood
Kriti Kharbanda started her career in the South Industry. In 2009, she started working in South Telugu and Kannada films. After this, in 2016, she entered Bollywood with Raaz Reboot, but this film too was not liked by the audience.

After Raaz Reboot, Kriti worked in films like Guest in London, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, Veere Ki Wedding, Karwaan, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, and Pagalpanti. Most of these films were not successful at the box office. However, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana was well liked among the fans and this film made a special place in her career.
Hit film 'Housefull 4' became a milestone in career
The biggest hit in Kriti's career was Housefull 4, which was released in 2019. This multi-starrer film earned Rs 194.60 crore at the box office. This film gave Kriti a different position and strengthened her identity among the audience.
Worked on OTT as well
In 2020, Kriti Kharbanda appeared in a film called Taish, which was streamed on ZEE5. After this, her film 14 Phere was also released on OTT. However, both the films did not receive much response.
Upcoming projects
Now Kriti has new projects like Risky Romeo and an untitled film. It will be interesting to see what turn Kriti's career takes in the coming time and whether she will be able to give a new height to her career.
