Rae Bareli: A speeding truck overturned over a car uncontrollably in the Bhadokhar police station area on Tuesday night. Five people, including two children, in the car, lost their lives on the spot. Of the three injured, one has been sent to a private nursing home, while two have been sent to the district hospital. One of them has been sent home.

According to reports, Rakesh Agarwal, 45, son of businessman Mahendra Agarwal, and his daughter-in-law Sonam Agarwal, 35, had gone to baba Dhaba on Rae Bareli Prayagraj highway, 7 km from the district headquarters, along with his two children Aditya 11 and Tansi 9, Reyansh 6 and Risa 9. They were returning from the car after having dinner, when the speeding truck, which was going towards Lucknow near Kripalu Institute, suddenly overturned on the car. Eight people in a car were buried. On the screams, people gathered nearby but could not succeed in removing the truck. After a long time, the crane was arranged and the injured were evacuated, but by then it was too late.

All the injured were brought to the district hospital. Reyansh son of Rachit Agarwal, Rakesh Agarwal son of Mahendra Agarwal, Sonam Agarwal wife of Rakesh Agarwal, Risa daughter of Rachit Agarwal, Ruchika Agarwal wife of Rachit Agarwal has been declared dead by the doctors. The injured Aditya has been admitted to the district hospital while Rachit Agarwal is undergoing treatment at a nursing home at Police Lines. The injured body has been sent home.
