Dehradun: An incident that shames humanity has come to light from Uttarakhand, here in Tehri district, along with a married woman, her mother-in-law and sister-in-law crossed all limits of cruelty. Together they burnt the woman in many places with a hot pan. When the women's children tried to save the mother, they were also beaten up. Police have started an investigation by registering a case against the culprit's mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
According to the news received, the matter is of Jeevangarh in Vikas Nagar, Dehradun. When the victim's mother reached her daughter's in-laws' house at Jeevangarh on Saturday, she was not allowed to meet her. When she forcibly entered the house, she saw that her daughter was badly injured. Thereafter, the woman was taken home with her by her mother. On Monday, when Pradhan and other villagers got the news of the matter, they informed the police. After this, on Thursday, the victim and the villagers reached the SP office and lodged a complaint against the in-laws.
It is being said that the mental condition of the victim's husband is not good. The woman's mother said that her daughter was badly burnt. The daughter has 3 children. When the children protested, they were also beaten up. The daughter was beaten up by her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. SP Tehri Navneet Singh Bhullar said that a complaint has been registered against the criminal mother-in-law and sister-in-law in New Tehri Kotwali. Tehri Police have arrested the criminal mother-in-law and sister-in-law. After getting the woman's medical, she is being referred to the Dehradun Burn Unit.
