New Delhi: After the gang-rape of a 14-year-old minor girl in Delhi's Narela, an encounter broke out between the absconding accused in the murder case and the police. The accused first fired at the police. The police also retaliated, in which the accused got shot and was badly injured. The police have found a country-made pistol, live cartridges and empty cartridges from the accused.
In this case of gang rape and murder, the police has already arrested one accused. In fact, Santosh Tiwari, a resident of Narela, had filed a missing case of his daughter on February 15. Along with this, he also raised the suspicion of the girl being kidnapped against two people. Then on February 19, Rahul Rai, a resident of Sannoth village and a nail polish businessman, told the police that his shop smelled bad. When the police opened the shop and saw that the dead body of a girl was lying in a mutilated condition. Investigation revealed that this is the same girl whose missing complaint was lodged by her father.
Rahul told the police that Sunil, who worked in his shop, was also missing from the spot. The police sent the girl's body to the morgue of Jahangirpuri. After confirming the crime against the girl, the police have started investigating the accused by forming a special team. The police arrested the accused Sachin on February 21 from the outskirts of Sannoth village, when he was trying to escape from Delhi to Mumbai.
