Gonda: The body of a minor girl was found in Gonda in the country's largest state UP. On Tahrir, police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem and started an investigation into the incident. There were no clothes on the body, seeing which it is suspected that the girl was killed after the rape. The police tracked down the culprits in just a few hours and surrounded her in a sugarcane field. The criminals opened fire on the police team to save themselves. But one criminal was injured in the police retaliation. He has been admitted to the district hospital for treatment while a police team is combing in the search for the second culprit.  

The incident took place in the Nawabganj police station area of Gonda. The deceased girl is said to be from the Dalit community. There is an uproar in the area after this case. The crying of the family is bad. The family had told the police that around 8 pm on Friday, she had left home to defecate. But she didn't return home for a long time.    

The girl's father says his 17-year-old girl went out of the house to defecate. After that, she did not come home for a long time, so he tried to find her but she was nowhere to be found. Due to this, the half-naked body of her daughter was found lying in the garden of Eucalyptus, 100 meters away from the house. The case is now being investigated by the police.
