New Delhi: Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud and other judges of the Supreme Court will join the commemoration of the 10th International Yoga Day, scheduled for tomorrow.
The event, slated for June 21, 2024, will witness a Yoga celebration for Officers and staff members of the Supreme Court Registry, to be held at the Congregation Hall, 2nd floor, 'C' Block, and Yoga and Recreation Hall, 4th Floor, 'A' Block, Additional Building Complex, Supreme Court of India. The Chief Justice of India and his fellow judges will actively participate in this occasion.
A circular from the apex court urged Officers and staff members to contribute to the success of the event through their active participation. The Yoga sessions will be conducted under the supervision of Yoga Experts. Additionally, participants will receive Yoga T-Shirts, and the event will culminate with a healthy breakfast.
The International Day of Yoga (IDY), observed annually on June 21, aims to raise awareness about the extensive benefits of Yoga in enhancing overall health and well-being.
