NEW DELHI: SpiceJet has announced the launch of 32 new flights as part of its winter schedule, effective from October 27, 2024. This includes 30 domestic flights and two international routes, specifically connecting Delhi and Phuket with daily non-stop services. The airline aims to enhance connectivity and provide passengers with more travel options.
The new domestic routes will offer flights from Mumbai to destinations such as Patna, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Goa. Additionally, there will be expanded connections from Patna to Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. Passengers flying from Chennai will now have the option to travel to Port Blair and Pune. New flights from Delhi will include connections to Phuket, Amritsar, and Gorakhpur, along with a new route linking Kolkata to Port Blair.
Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer of SpiceJet, said about the expansion, "We are delighted to announce the addition of 32 new flights to our network. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing seamless connectivity, affordable air travel, and an enhanced customer experience. With improved schedules and increased frequencies, we aim to deliver greater reliability and convenience, ensuring our passengers reach their destinations efficiently."
Maharshi also noted that the airline plans to further grow its operations by adding more flights in the coming weeks. SpiceJet is set to strengthen its fleet with the addition of 10 new aircraft by November, supporting its goal of improving service delivery and customer satisfaction.
