President's Arrival and Key Events
President Murmu arrived in Hyderabad on Thursday evening for a two-day visit. She was warmly welcomed by Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and other notable officials at Begumpet Airport.
During her stay, President Murmu participated in two major events. On Thursday, she attended the Koti Deepotsavam-2024, a grand celebration featuring thousands of lit lamps. On Friday, she delivered the opening address at Lokmanthan-2024, a cultural and intellectual conclave.
Traffic Measures for VVIP Movement
To ensure smooth travel for the President and her delegation, both Hyderabad and Cyberabad traffic police implemented special traffic diversions along the President’s route. This helped facilitate an uninterrupted VVIP movement during her stay in the city.
