Kota: A hit-and-run case has come to light in Kota, Rajasthan. Here, a speeding car trampled three members of the same family sleeping on the pavement uncontrollably. One person died on the spot. Two others are said to be badly injured. The car driver fled from the spot after the accident.

The accident took place on Friday morning in front of J K Lon Hospital in Kota. Dinesh, a labourer, died on the spot, while his wife and son were seriously injured. Both the injured have been admitted to hospital. After the accident, the accused car driver fled from the spot. As soon as the people of the area came to know about the incident, people gathered and created a ruckus in front of Nayapura police station in Kota. 

At the same time, the police have registered a case against the car driver and started investigation. According to the police, a case has been registered against the accused driver under relevant sections and a search is on for him. At present, the body of the deceased has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
