Guntur: A large number of devotees thronged the Kottappakonda temple to seek the blessings of Lord Trikoteshwara Swamy on the auspicious beginning of Kartik month on Friday. The temple was beautifully decorated on this occasion. And special worship was done to Lord Trikoteshwar Swami. Ekadash Rudrabhishekam, Ahabisekam including Laksh Bilvarchan and special poojas are performed to the Lord from morning itself. Similarly, special worship of Chamundi Sametha Amaralingeshwara Swamy was performed in Amaravati.

Devotees visit the temple and offer prayers to seek the blessings of Amaralingeshwara Swamy. The temple was decorated colorfully on this occasion. On this occasion, the officials of the Devasthanam offered special prayers. Special pujas were performed at Bramaramba Sametha Mallikarjuna Swamyth Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple at Pedakkani in Guntur district to mark the beginning of Kartik month. Lord Shiva was consecrated. Ekad Rudrabhishek and Bilvarjan were performed.

Meanwhile, APSRTC Guntur region is running special buses from 13 depots in the district to all Shaiva areas for the convenience of the devotees.
